What a book!
The Good Daughter is one of those stories that even though you know it is the stuff of your worst nightmares, you have to read it. I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was going to happen to the characters and I had to know that the story would come to an end; so I could actually sleep at night. I was hooked! It was traumatic and devestating, but the quality of the writing, the events that unfold, the past and present mixing together; drew you into the story and the characters. It started with a bang and it continued unrepentant, drip feeding you pieces of a story that you didn’t ever want to imagine, but once started, couldn’t stop reading.
